comes to  hiring you.

First of all, this is not an exhaustive list  you can find many resources  on
the Internet  about job search  techniques  and  commonly asked interview
questions  this is more about  landing BPO jobs  in other words,  this article
focuses  mainly on the  characteristics  of BPO industry there are two types
of jobs that are being offered by BPO  One is the - voice process  and the
other one is non-voice process.

If you have good communication skills  then you can go for voice process
otherwise  you can go for documentation processing  jobs.  which are known as
non voice process.

If you haven't already done so,  please upload your resume  to top online job
directories  like Naukri.com, monster.com and timesJobs.com and make sure  you
update your resume  with the latest qualifications  this will ensure  that the
employers find you  when they are looking for  candidates.

Another thing you can do is  find out the major consultancies  that are hiring
for BPO  and get in touch with them to check for current openings

Jobs in BPO industry  revolve around customer service  so you need to make
sure  you have the right attitude  for the service industry. Pay scales in BPO
industries  range from Rs 8000 - 25000 p.m.

Technical support jobs  offer more salary  to get into a technical support job
you should have a basic  understanding about  computers and networking.  If
you are not sure about that  then you can go for  customer service jobs.

Most companies  will give u training  before you start your work  in case of
Technical Support  the training period can be between  30 to 60 days  in case
of customer service jobs  its 15 to 30 days  however it depends on the company
policy.

Before you go for the interview,  research the company  visit the company's
website  and make sure you know  what type of business  they are involved in
as it will l help you  to customize your answers  during the interview.

Be familiar with  common interview questions  like 'Tell me about yourself?',
'What are your strengths and weakness?', 'What was the most memorable day in
your life?' so on and so forth.

Use Google Maps  to find the location  of the company  in case you are not
communicated about that  you can easily find the  shortest route  and the best
mode of transport  to reach the company.

Start early to avoid last minute tension.

Make sure  your carrying the appropriate stationary  with you  things like
Stapplers, Pen, Glue, resume, interview call letter copy, etc and always carry
a PAN card or driving license with you as you may have to go inside a tech park
to reach the company.

While most companies  have their own unique  recruitment process  usually it
starts with  a personal round  where you'll be asked  to go over your resume
and discuss about  your career goals  this will be followed by  group
discussion  in case of voice process  where you will be asked  to discuss with
other interviewees about  common topic  it could also be a  extempore speech
where you will be asked to speak for  2 minutes  about a topic  so make sure
you are prepared for that  the third and final round  will be the operations
round  where you'll be meeting  operations manager  for the business division

Here, you will be judged  on how well  your skill sets  will match the job
profile  once you are through the HR person  will discuss about  your salary
if you are not sure about  how much to ask  you can tell them  that they can
pay you  as per industry standards.

If you are not comfortable  speaking in an American or British accent  you can
speak in neutral accent. In fact, most companies prefer  candidates speaking
in neutral accent  because neutral accent  can be later trained for American
or Brit easily. At present,  recruitments  are even done for  Australian
process it is better that  you have a cultural understanding  of the customers
to whom you are going to speak in future  for this  you can watch  television
shows  and movies  of the country  so that you'll have  something to talk
about  other than business.

Most BPO companies  will have rotational shifts sometimes  the shifts may even start from  2 a.m. in the morning  it depends on the country  they are servicing  but there are some companies  which do
offer UK shifts.

Usually,  UK shift  will start from 12 noon  and will endend around 11 p.m. If you are familiar with computers and networking  then you can opt for a technical support job  where you'll be troubleshooting  customers' computers  remotely  this type of job  offers lot of scope  for improvement  and career progress  you can even do  technical certifications  like CCNA  CCNP  for more opportunity.

have to dig deeper and find out if it is really positive.

2. Stay away from negativity. Don't entertain negative thoughts like greed,

jealousy, etc inside your mind. For this to happen you have to be aware of

what you are thinking on a daily basis.

in an ocean.

6. Meditate for 20 minutes. Spare at least a few minutes meditating on God or

whatever that you believe in. It gives you clarity to take on challenges of

life.

7. Get help from mentor. Choose a person that resonates with you and ask for

his advice. This could be a spiritual guru or a sports coach.

8. Manage your time effectively. We all have only 24 hours in a day. You have

to accomplish things that matter the most without postponing it for tomorrow.

9. Improve your skills. Whether you are a working professional or student you

have to work on your strengths to improve yourself so that you can become more
